TOL13

TOL13 is being configured as a BYOC workstation. You are still booking as you would any other TOL workspace. But rather than a computer, there is a monitor, a mouse and a keyboard available for you to use with your laptop. As you are using your own computer local area network (cable network) is not available, but as with anywhere else on campus, you have access to the wireless network using your UO W account.


Spatial Computers – These are the computers that are configured to handle the majority of ArcGIS and ENVI processing requirements. Use these computers for processing and analysing your GIS and remote sensing work, creating maps, and designing geospatial workflows. These computers are also to be used for learning to use any of the software installed on the SDP computers.

Spatial Data Processing Computers – Please read and familiarise yourself with the additional requirements attached to the use of these computers, they are for the processing of very large spatial datasets. You must manage your data differently to get the benefit of using these machine
