The SAL Slack

As researchers registered with the Spatial Analysis Labs know, researchers using applied spatial science can spend significant time in front of a computer on their geospatial work in addition to any time in the field, in more traditional science labs and doing the necessary reading and writing of academic life.

Slack_icon_smallTo offer increased connectivity to SAL Users, there is now a SAL Slack available for those who have registered their research with us:

I have set up several initial channels, based on topics that often come up for discussion in technical support situations:

I have also linked aspects of my work calendar to my slack account; so that users can see my immediate availability – if they are wondering if it is worth trying to catch me on the fly…

While I will only be available on the slack during business hours, members can leave questions in the channels that may be answered sooner by other Slack members. I will see them too, as soon as I am back on the job 🙂

If you already have a registered project and would like to join the SAL Slack contact us and I will send you an invitation EnvelopeIcon
